Travis Kelce just can’t shake off his admiration for Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, recently shared how the singer wound up singing “Shake it Off” with Kane Brown during a night out at his Tight End University event on June 24.

“Tay Tay showed up,” Travis said after brother Jason Kelce brought up the viral moment on the July 2 episode of their New Heights podcast. “I mean, you already know. We’re in Nashville, she grew up in Nashville. She moved there when she was younger. And yeah, we had this plan for a while that we were gonna have some fun with the tight ends.”

And he gave all credit to his girlfriend of nearly two years for linking up with the “Miles on It” singer at the concert celebrating NFL’s tight ends’ weekend of giving back.

“I won’t say when the idea came up, but when we were there at Tight End & Friends and we knew there was a professional like Kane Brown who can just—he can figure it out,” Travis continued. “He’s a pro. He’s been on stage a million times, he’s not shy at all by any means. He’s a true professional. Tay just kinda went up to him and the band and was like, ‘Hey, if you guys are down, I’ll go up there and play a song and see if we can pop the roof off this place.’”
