Nordstrom, the beloved department store known for its high-end fashion and exceptional customer service, offers an array of sales throughout the year. But with so many sales events from Nordstrom and all the other retailers you love so much, it can be challenging to keep track.
We’ve collected all the info from 2023 and put it into this handy Nordstrom sales guide to use as your go-to resource for scoring the best deals and the biggest steals in 2024.
January
Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale: Winter Edit
As the second most popular Nordstrom sale, the Half Yearly Sale is considered Nordstrom’s semiannual event. It pops up at the end of the year (and again in May) and continues into the beginning of the new year for a winter clear-out. This year’s sale started on Dec. 22 and lasted until Jan. 7, including 25% off select Ugg boots, 50% off select Skims and lots more.
Nordstrom Designer Sale
The limited-time discount on designer merch happens almost every month throughout the year and lasts for roughly two weeks. The first one in 2024 started on Jan. 12 and lasted until Jan. 27, and as the sale went on, it offered up to a 70% discount after taking an extra 25% to 40% off.
February
Nordstrom Winter Sale
This year, the Winter Sale started Feb. 8 and lasted until Feb. 19. The sale was filled with discounts on new markdowns, including up to 50% off the Ugg Mini, Ray-Ban shades, On sneakers, Skims apparel and lots more.
March
Nordstrom Spring Sale
The Nordstrom Spring Sale arrives just in time for saving up to 50% on new essentials, like sneakers, jeans, sweaters and jackets that you can use now and some to save for later. This year, it started on March 21 and lasted until April 1. The sale also offered a $25 promo card with gift card purchases of $150 or more from March 27-31.

In 2023, the Spring Sale filled up almost half of the month, but this year, it ended right at the beginning, leaving the majority of April wide open. And as you’re twiddling your thumbs waiting for the next big moment, check for new clearance markdowns throughout the month and extra Nordy Club reward point opportunities like for beauty purchases.
May
Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale: Spring Edit
While it might not seem like six months since the last one, the second Half Yearly Sale arrives right before Memorial Day. The spring edition often holds even deeper savings of up to 60% off fashion, beauty, designer & more. Last year, the sale ran from May 24 to June 4, 2023.
June
June is another lull when it comes to Nordstrom sales, but that’s likely because July holds the biggest blowout of them all — the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. So, while you’re prepping for next month, shop the clearance section with savings of up to 60% off on PAIGE, Free People, Nike and lots more.
July
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts with early access on July 9 for Icons, July 10 for Ambassadors and July 11 for Influencers, and July 15 for everyone else. The entire sale lasts through Aug. 4 and includes new merchandise for fall, plus things you can wear right now.
August
Nordstrom Summer Sale
Marking the end of summer, the Norstrom Summer Sale offers up to 60% off fashion, beauty, designer merchandise and lots more. Last year, the sale started on Aug. 29, lasted through Labor Day, and ended on Sept. 11, 2023.
September
Nordstrom Beauty Sale
The Beauty Sale is perfect for stocking up on your luxe beauty products. You can save up to 25% on top brands like Laura Mercier, Lancôme, Estée Lauder and more. Plus, Nordy Club members earn 5X the points on beauty purchases. The sale started around mid-September (Sept. 18) and lasted until Sept. 23, 2023.
October
Nordstrom Fall Sale
The Fall Sale in October (Oct. 26-Nov. 6, 2023) gives you up to 50% off fashion, including jackets, tops and jeans from brands like AllSaints, Vince, Topshop and more, and beauty products, designer merchandise and lots more.
November
Pre-Black Friday Sale
The out-of-nowhere sale that popped up on Nov. 11-13, 2023, was a warmup to Nordstrom’s big Black Friday Sale. The sale offered up to 30% off select brands, including Nike, Blondo, Vince, ASOS, Topshop, Free People and more.
Nordstrom Black Friday Sale
In 2023, Black Friday arrived early at Nordstrom — from Nov. 16 to Nov. 25, 2023. It included marked-down items just for the event but really ramped up even more on Black Friday with discounts on Ugg, Madewell, Robert Barakett and more. Plus, the sale included limited-time discounts of up to 25% on select Nike and $100 off the Dyson Airwrap.
The Nordstrom Black Friday Sale officially starts Nov. 29, but be prepared for deals to drop early.
December
Nordstrom Cyber Monday Sale
As a continuation of the Black Friday sale, Nordstrom’s Cyber Monday event is really just an extension with similar deals, but they go super fast. Plus, the sale offered a $25 off promo card with an online purchase of $150 or more in gift cards.
This year, the Nordstrom Cyber Monday Sale starts on Dec. 2.
Nordstrom Shoe Sale
Whether you’re looking for deals on cozy boots, swanky heels for a holiday party or a gift for a special person, you can take an extra 25% off clearance shoes.
Nordstrom Holiday Sale
The last of Nordstrom’s seasonal sales is the Holiday Sale. It arrived on Dec. 7 and lasted until Dec. 15, 2023, with up to 50% off and merchandise that arrived before Christmas.
Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale
And here we are again at the end of the year with the return of the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale that will carry you into the new year. It got quite the early start in 2023 (Dec. 22) with tons of savings even before the holidays were over.
