Earlier today, Mojang announced and released the Minecraft ($6.99) Marketplace Pass subscription. This includes over 150 pieces of content made by creators available to subscribers. This content covers worlds, skin packs, and more with new content refreshed each month. A free Character Creator item set will be available to subscribers to claim each month. The subscription is priced at $3.99 per month. Content will rotate out as well and the FAQ page confirms that you will need to purchase content that leaves the catalog if you want to continue using it while playing. Packs will not be deleted from your storage until you delete them. Watch the trailer for the Minecraft Marketplace Pass below:

If your subscription ends or you cancel it, you can purchase and download any world template saved to your cloud storage within 18 months of the subscription ending. Monthly character creator items can be kept after being claimed. Mojang also confirmed that Realms Plus includes the Minecraft Marketplace Pass. If you subscribe to Minecraft Marketplace Pass and want to use Realms Plus, you will need to cancel the former and subscribe to Realms Plus. The subscription is available to access from all devices with Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This includes mobile as well of course. It isn’t available in the Java Edition. What do you think of the Minecraft Marketplace Pass and will you be subscribing or using the free trial to check it out today?
