1. Amazon Prime Music
Amazon has free albums, podcasts and MP3 singles available and ad-free. Amazon Prime members have free access to 2 million songs on demand through Prime Music. For a bit more ($9.99 a month, to be exact), you can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited and have tens of millions of songs to groove to. But before you officially decide to sign up, get a free 30-day trial first.
2. Amazon Prime Reading
If you’re like me and coast through a handful of books a month on your Kindle, this is a need-to-know fact: Amazon has free e-books and magazines. Some are always free, and others are limited-time deals. Browse the Top 100 Free e-books or sort them by category — options change every hour.
3. Free Amazon Prime Movies
Amazon Prime members (or those who get in on the 30-day free trial) can stream over 40,000 free movies and TV shows via Prime Video and IMDb TV. Amazon adds new titles each month. Right now, you can enjoy “The Boys,” “The Twilight Saga,” “The Outer Range” and lots more, including other Amazon Originals.
New in 2024, Prime Video will now include ads. If you don’t want your viewing experience disrupted, you must pay $2.99 monthly for ad-free movies and TV shows.

As a Prime Student member, you get a six-month free trial (up from three months) and then pay $7.49 (decreased from $8.99) a month, so you’ll have time to determine whether you want to continue with a paid membership.
6. Amazon Photo Storage
Amazon Photos offers free storage for Prime members and non-Prime members alike. Everybody gets 5GB of photo storage for free, and Prime members get unlimited photo storage for free. In addition to being a great (free) way to back up your photos, Amazon Photos allows you to order prints and photo gifts straight from Amazon easily — and you can easily cycle your photos on your Echo Show screen. It also offers group-sharing features.
7. Pay With Amazon Points
If you’re an Amazon addict like us, you might want to steer your credit card rewards toward purchases on Amazon. You can redeem credit card points from various cards, like Amazon.com, Rewards Visa Card, Citi ThankYou Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, Cashback Bonus from Discover and Chase Ultimate Rewards, right on Amazon.
To use your points, select “points” as a payment method when you check out. If you only want to use points to cover a portion of your order, you can even specify that. However, Kindle downloads, AmazonFresh, Subscribe and Save, and preorders aren’t eligible for point usage.

Do you have a gamer in your life? Chances are either you’re into gaming or you have a teenager who is. That’s where Amazon’s Prime Gaming comes in handy. 12. GrubHub+ Free for One Year
In July 2023, Amazon rolled out this latest freebie. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’ll get a free Grubhub+ membership for one year. It normally costs $9.99 a month.
